Hsiang Ming is a legal, regulatory and compliance professional with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of global finance, compliance and emerging technologies. As a Director in Temasek's Legal & Regulatory department, he oversees core compliance and plays a central role in shaping the firm's regulatory and internal compliance programme amid a complex and fast-moving global regulatory landscape. As a strong advocate of modernisation, he leads his department's AI and legaltech agenda, including evaluating, piloting and deploying AI tools across legal, regulatory and compliance work with appropriate governance, confidentiality and risk guardrails. This hands-on experience gives him a practical view of where AI adds real value in control functions, and what it takes to move from proof-of-concept to adoption at scale. He is equally focused on the people side of transformation, including the change management and operating discipline needed to embed new tools into everyday work. He is passionate about evolving compliance into a proactive, tech-enabled strategic partner.
